ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 16.63 g, 12 h), Euryklei..., Ariara..., and Phanokri..., magistrates, 122-121. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos and long tendril on the bowl, and with the foreparts of four horses above the visor. Rev. A-ΘE / EYPY-KLEI / API-APA / ΦANO/KPI Owl standing facing on amphora; to right, the three Graces standing facing; on amphora, uncertain letter; in exergue, MIP; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 518b var. (differing letters on amphora and in exergue). Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
